What you get

Supported formats
Furtu accepts .pdf files up to 500 MB each — one file at a time.
- Every file is checked against its real file signature, not just its name, so a renamed or corrupt file is rejected with an explanation instead of failing halfway through.
- Files over the limit are refused up front rather than after a long wait.
Limitations, stated up front
- A text watermark is not encryption and does not prevent editing or removal.
- Standard fonts are used, so a custom brand typeface is not embedded.
Frequently asked questions
Does the document go to a server to be stamped?
No. The PDF is opened and restamped in your browser, so the file never leaves your device. The copy you download is written straight to your own machine, the original file on your disk is left untouched, and there is no server-side step where a document could be stored in transit.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Enter the pages to stamp, for example 1-2, 5. Leave the field empty to stamp the entire document.
Is the watermark removable?
A text watermark is a drawing in the page content, so it discourages casual reuse but does not prevent editing. Anyone who can view the PDF can remove it. It is a label, not a lock.
